Audiologist
Barbara has been an audiologist for over 25 years and has experience working with both pediatric and adult populations. She grew up in New York and received her Bachelors from the State University of New York – Albany, and Masters Degree from Purdue University.
Barbara offers personalized hearing care to meet your unique and individual needs. She also has a strong belief in education of both patients and their families. Barbara provides realistic expectations regarding hearing loss and hearing aids as well as ways to manipulate environments to ensure the best communication possible. She also offers extensive counseling and rehabilitative options to our patients and their families as there are many different listening environments which can cause difficulty in communication. It is important to understand what your hearing aid can and cannot do. Barbara believes in treating each of our patients with the utmost respect, honesty, consideration, and empathy.
Barbara has extensive experience in hearing and balance disorders, hearing aids, and hearing conservation. She works with many hearing aid manufacturers in the latest digital technology. She attends many educational programs to stay up to date on all of the most state-of-the-art technology.
She looks forward to working with you, giving back to our wonderful community, and helping to improve the quality of life for our patients that are experiencing hearing loss.
